There are alot of people seeking to be enlighten these days. They search here and there. They read book after book,attend seminars, search the internet, surf blog after blog and seek teacher after teacher attemping to learn how to become enlightened.

All these things can be helpful in providing information and experiences. But, they cannot teach you to be enlightened.

You already are an enlightened being. All that is necessary is to know that and reconize, personalize and realize enlightenment within yourself.

Spend more time alone with yourself. Quite time.

Realize you are a spiritual being. Made in the image and likeness of a spirit God.
Personalize your being as one with this same creative universal spirit.
Realize the spiritual life in the physical circumstances.

Seek and you will find. but, you are not looking for something you do not already possess, you are seeking to reveal what you already have.

No need to struggle and rush to reach enlightment, you will not graduate and then be an enlightened person.

Recently while visiting Creating a Better Life blog, I read a very sincere & honest post about losing focus.

This lead me to consider the Spritual Principles concerning focus that are contained in the Christian Bible. The Bible is a book of Spritual Principles. These Divine Principles are presented in many ways, in many stories and many times. Some are spoken of directly some are hidden to be discerned.

Your focus should always be kept on the spiritual. It is in the spirit that things first take place, where problems are solved, material things are created.

The Spritual Principle here is: Spiritual first....material or physical follows.

Romans 12:2 Be not conformed to this world: But be ye transformed by the RENEWING of your MIND, (the reason) that ye may prove what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, will of GOD. Spiritual first.....material follows.

Galatians 5:22 But the FRUIT of the SPIRIT is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against which there is no law. Spiritual first....material follows.

Psalm 1:2,3 But his delight is in the Law of the Lord; and in his Law does he meditate day and night.
AND he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters, that brings forth his fruit in his season; and his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper. Spiritual first....material follows

Joshua 1:7,8 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou may observe to do according to all thy law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, THAT thou may prosper in whatever thou does.
This book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night; THAT thou may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for THEN thou shall make thy way properous, and THEN thou shall have good success. Spiritual first....material follows.

And ofcourse you remember the story of Peter when he attempted to walk on the water. As long as he kept his eyes(focus) on Jesus(spiritual) he walked and did not sink. When he took his eyes(focus) off Jesus(spiritual) and looked at the storms effects(material) he began to sink in the water. When he put the Spiritual first he gained the material he wanted. When he reversed the Principle he lost the material.
Spiritual first....material follows.

There are many many more examples and stories that show this very important Spiritual Principle. The next time you spend some time with your Bible look for this Principle.

Divine Principles are for living life. They never fail. Keep your SonVision. Keep your focus on the Spiritual and the material will be manifested in your world.
This is the life that Jesus lived, he saw through Spirit in all circumstances at all times. He used his SonVision, he never lost his focus.

My friend Steve at Pine River Spirit blog (click on Divine Science Sunday service at bottom under announcements) is now offering a Sunday service for those that cannot attend a service or wish to worship privately.
This service is based on the writings of Rev. W.John Murray from the magazine The Gleaner, which was published between 1909-1925. There will be a service each Sunday with a new message from the Magazine.

The first service is this Sunday April 9, 2006. I have seen a preview of this first service. It is very thought provoking and has tremendous spiritual content. It is simply laid out and presented in a format that focuses on the content rather than the graphics.

I recommend this uplifting, encouraging service. After "attending" the service look around his website Northwoods Divine Science Resource Center, it has a ton of interesting and informative material.

KISS...Keep It Simple Stupid. This formula is to remind sales people to keep their sales presentation easy to understand. Not to go into deep explanations of their product in order not to confuse their prospect.
The operation and benefits of a product or service must be simple in order to be universal to all people of varing education, language and mental capabilities.

KISS...Keep It Simple Spirit. I believe this is the method used by Divine Spirit to reveal Spiritual Principles and understanding. All the greatest spiritual teachers and enlighten souls have been people of simple ways and simple teaching.

The praise of God has and is being done in all religions and in every area of the world. It is the peace and good will towards men that has not been practiced on a regular bases. And the world, begining with individuals, families, neighbors, comunities, cities, states, countries are seeing and feeling the effects of the lack of peace and good will towards men.Even the atmosphere and physical world of the planet is being rocked by the increased ill will towards men.

When the people of the world change their thoughts to peace and good will towards men, then the world of the people will change for them to recieving peace and good will from others.

Is this just a nice little verse for christians? Is this just to say that it is what christians should think and have nice thoughts? Or is there more to this statement?

The human mind can only entertain one thought at a time. It may seem that you have a thousand things on your mind at times, but the truth is that your mind has one thought going throught it at a time and it is working at high speed and jumping from thought to thought.

Your thoughts will eventually manifest themselves into your physical surroundings. You are now in the circumstances and situations that have been foremost in your thoughts whether you are conscious of these thoughts or conscious of how many times you think these thoughts.
By changing your thoughts and attitude towards people and situations, you can change the direction and relationships in your life. When you bring yourself into harmony with good, good will manifest in your life. This is cause and effect. Your thoughts are the cause, your situations and circumstances are the effect.

When negitive thoughts come to mind, do not fight them, Just think of something positive.....Emmet Fox.

So, we can see that there is a practical principle involved with this verse. What is it you want your life to be like? Think on the good & positive things of life and reject the negitive thoughts as soon as they enter your conscious thoughts.

If you are now in such circumstances that you think you can't find anything good to think about, begin where you are now and replace any and all bad & negitive thoughts with this one thought: Positive Things are Happening in My Life Today!
Experiment with this and you will prove to yourself that this principle will begin to bring positive things into your life. This is how I proved it to myself with situations in my own life. It will give you a starting point to change yourself and your outlook on the things of life as it changes the situations surrounding your life.

You have been given this creative power......Use It!
And let this Divine Priniciple work for you.

Mastery

Thoughts, words and actions are the creative process whereby things and circumstances come into being. In order to bring about a change this process must be followed.

This is where mastery of self is vital. We must first look within or to ourselves to see what our thoughts, words & actions are and have been. What do you really believe, what has your thoughts really been? Your words and actions will reflect your true thoughts and beliefs.

In order to master or gain the mastery of anything or circumstance you must do so by practice until it is by habit. When by habit it will be without any conscious thought but by thoughts none the less. When this is accomplished you will be master over this thing or circumstance. You will have gained the mastery over self as to this thing or circumstance.

If I say I do not have the habit of smoking cigarettes. I can just as well and truthfully say I have the habit of not smoking. My unconscious thought is not to smoke. I have gained the mastery over self and smoking cigarettes. My words and actions follow my thoughts. I do not smoke.

To gain the mastery over self, spend some time alone often to see with an uncritial eye the things you actually believe, the things you actually think. Gain control of the things you want in your life one by one, change your thoughts about people, places and things. By practice gain mastery over the things you don't want in your life.

Look to self first. Do not be critial of yourself when you find things you don't want, such as ill will towards another, selfishness, anger, hatred, jealiousy, any thing that controls you. When these things surface it is good to reconize that some more conscious thought has to be done in order to gain complete mastery over this area.

As you gain mastery over self, outside people , places, things & circumstances will no longer affect you. This is where you have gained mastery to change things and circumstances, as you see them and believe them to be as they are spiritually.......GOOD.

As Jesus was growing up and becoming a young man, he gained complete mastery over himself in all areas of life. So that; he only belived, thought and saw things as complete, good, whole and accomplished as he wanted them to be. He was not constrained in thought or actions by character flaws or other human desires, he belived, thought and acted on spiritual vision.

He gained complete mastery over self then complete mastery over the visual and physical world. He followed the process of belief, thoughts, words, actions then things & circumstances conformed as he belived.

He said I have given you the power to become sons of God. Start with SonVision, see how you want life to be and begin within, start gaining mastery over yourself and outside circumstances. As you gain power over yourself you will gain power for others.

Man is created in the image and likeness of God. Religion has changed that to..... God made in the image and likeness man. In order to explain God and Gods ways, man has changed (in the human mind) God from pure, infinite, all powerful, all good to having human emotions and human actions.
The Bible has been so misunderstood as to produce a god of mans own making. God is Spirit, all good, all love, present everywhere. There is no place where God is not. God being everywhere, Where is there a place for another power? Man has decided in his own mind how God must be according to the way man thinks. The bible is to be understood spiritually. Jesus came to know and understand God as no other had risen. In coming to know and understand God he came to know and understand who he was and who all people could become if they so desired to understand. He was called the Son of God and said " I have given you power to become Sons of God". Jesus saw with SonVision, we also can see with SonVision. Religion teaches manvision as it always has. Become as Jesus, see with SonVision. Know and understand God and yourself as Jesus taught. That is the truth that will set you free. That is Jesus's whole message, freedom. The kingdom of God is within you.......Have eyes to see and ears to hear.

To see through Spirit as Jesus saw, Is to see perfection. To see the end result you want.
Want to be healed of some illness or circumstance? See yourself through Spirit, perfect in everyway. Complete and whole. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind----Why ?---
that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. You are Spirit, that is the real you. God gave the Spirit dominion. All physical or material circumstances and situations are subject to the Spirit, SEE through Spirit. What you see through Spirit is perfect! Believe it, it is true. As you see with SonVision or see as a Son of God, so shall it be.
