I want a peaceful life. The life we have now must pass into sacrifice and struggles...and even sacrifice our peace for now. But what important is, we must have peace in the eternal life..which will come soon after sufferings and sacrifices.
To me the phrase "peace in the life you have now" seems like a temporary measure - like you're willing to settle for less than eternal peace and happiness. It reminds me of those who ask God to "just help me get through this crisis" instead of looking at the Big Picture and realizing that God can make every day pleasant and bountiful.

Choose to have peace now.
You are right about sacrificing, you must give up things that are working against peace. Althought you will find it is not really a sacrifice.
There is no need to put off peace to some future time.
The life you have now is life eternal.
You must participate in your own life. Peace is there waiting for you.
